Our Events
Poverty Patch-Up furthers its mission of empowering orphans and the homeless by organizing free, accessible events such as community support drives, educational workshops, webinars with experts, and resource distribution initiatives. These events are designed to provide essential resources, knowledge, and advocacy tools to those in need. Here are just some of our events we would like to highlight!
Fundraisers
From talent shows, to bake sales, and to annual markets, Poverty Patch-Up has mobilized over 500 volunteers to help raise money for our cause! We've had participants volunteer from all across the bay area to help us raise over $5,000
Food Bank Volunteering
Poverty Patch-Up's volunteers were able to help make a difference at over 10 different soup kitchens and food banks. We would like to spotlight Alameda County Community Food Bank for their hospitality and advocacy.
Distributions
Over the course of distributions, Poverty Patch-Up has been able to donate over 12,000 meals because of the fundraising and event planning team. Starting from a small park to a large warehouse and different countries, our numbers have significantly grew with impact!
Donation Drives
Poverty Patch-Up has worked to organize and carry out donation drives. From clothing to food cans, we have donated thousands of resources to those who need it!
